FORENSIC SCIENCE THE CASE OF THE LOST SKULL Ages 8

A mysterious animal skull has been left outside our school
with money stuffed inside it, a shoe print beside it,
and other potential trace evidence in the area. This introductory
forensic unit will show our young people how to address
the question of who put it there. They will analyze fingerprint,

Learn about different ways robots move and operate
Test your skills with teammates while you operate models
of a lifting platform, an excavator, a cherry picker,
a scissor lift and a mobile arm. Move everything with
the power of water and air pressure (pneumatics and hydraulics).
Then the second part of the week, become an electro-wizard
as you discover electric circuits, experiment with electromagnets,
and build electric motors. Then construct and build your

robots using the LEGO NXT system. Students will learn

This Deep Space Terraformers Camp leads young campers
to the edge of the universe in a robotic adventure that
glimpses a future when humankind will transform distant
planets into livable habitats.
In this Camp adventure, campers are first tasked to
learn basics in the training areas on the Space Shuttle
Entropy. Next, campers visit a series of moons, where
they hone their terraforming skills. The adventure culminates
on the planet Pantheon. Robo campers help transform
Pantheon into an environment where humanoids can live
and thrive while building and programming various robots.

CANCELLATIONS
/ EXCHANGES / REFUNDS

Due to the high demand for camp spaces, each sale will
be considered final.
• Registrations are not transferable from child to child.
• Families who cancel a camp or wish to switch their
child from one camp to another will receive a 50% refund
of the cost of a cancelled or dropped camp if notification
is received at least 10 working days before that camp
starts. There are no refunds for camps cancelled or
dropped less than 10 working days before camp begins.
• In order to receive the 50% refund, famiies must contact
YPW via email: ypw@YoungPeoplesWorkshops.com
